Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou fenoménu singles v Japonsku. První část obsahuje definici pojmu singles a charakteristiku fenoménu. Dále se práce zaměřuje na to, jak se vývoj ekonomické situace a proměny společnosti projevují v životních prioritách a jak ovlivňují pohled na tradiční pojetí japonské rodiny a postavení ženy ve společnosti. Ačkoliv se zaobírám trendem, který je aktuální ve většině vyspělých zemí světa, filozoficko-historický kontext přibližuje situaci v Japonsku, jež se liší od reality, kterou známe v Evropě. V neposlední řadě poukazuji na to, jaké faktory tento fenomén vyvolaly a které ho dále podporují. Práce analyzuje důsledky tohoto fenoménu, především s ohledem na transformaci současné společnosti, zaměřuje se však i na to, jaké jsou snahy státu negativní dopady regulovat.This thesis examines the issue of singles phenomenon in Japan. The first part contains explanation of the term "singles" and characteristics of the phenomenon in Japan. The following part focuses on how the development of the economic situation and changes in the social sphere becomes evident in preferences of Japanese people as well as its influence on a view on traditional conception of Japanese family and the position of women in Japanese society. Although this trend is ongoing in most of the developed countries, the philosophical and historical context could give us an idea of the situation in Japan, which differs from the reality we live in. Last, but not least, this thesis points out which factors caused the progress of this phenomenon in Japanese society, which encourages it, and those which should regulate the consequences. The impact of this phenomenon is analysed mainly from the perspective of transformation of contemporary Japanese society.
