Diplomová práce se zabývá hospodařením Knihovny města Olomouce příspěv-kové organizace v letech 2015-2019. Teoretická část se věnuje definování a členění neziskového sektoru, popisuje postavení příspěvkových organizací v ekonomice, vy-světluje důvody vzniku a jejich specifika. Další část čtenáře seznamuje s Knihovnou města Olomouce a jejími aktivitami. Praktická část zahrnuje analýzu nákladů a výnosů a následně i finanční analýzu vhodnou pro municipální oblast. Poslední část poskytuje zhodnocení hospodaření dle výsledků provedených analýz, na jejichž základě jsou představeny návrhy a doporučení pro stabilnější fungování organizace.The diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the economy of a contributory organiza-tion, The Library of City Olomouc. The definition and the division of a non-profit sec-tor, the description of the position of contributory organizations in economics, the ex-planation of reasons of their origin and specifics are described in the theoretical part. The Library of City Olomouc and its activities are introduced in the next part. A cost-benefit analysis and a financial analysis for the years 2015-2019 suitable for the mu-nicipal area are included in the practical part. The last part deals with the evaluation of the management of the organization according to the results of the analyzes. Proposals and recommendations for improving the management strategy of the organization are presented based on the evaluation.
