El presente trabajo se dedica al estudio de los equivalentes checos de las unidades fraseológicas espanolas en el Gran diccionario espanol-checo de J. Dubský. Está dividido en la base teórica y el análisis. La base teórica contiene la fraseología, las características de las unidades fraseológicas, la lexicografía y la fraseografía. Asimismo, se presenta la traducción de las unidades fraseológicas, la hispanística checa y Josef Dubský, autor del Gran diccionario espanol-checo. El análisis se dedica a las locuciones verbales espanolas y sus equivalentes checos en el diccionario. El objetivo de este trabajo es evaluar la utilidad de los equivalentes checos usados por Dubský y averiguar en qué medida es un diccionario útil del espanol peninsular contemporáneo.The thesis is dedicated to the study of the Czech equivalents of the Spanish phraseological units in the Gran diccionario espanol-checo by J. Dubský. The thesis is divided into a theoretical base and an analysis. The theoretical base deals with phraseology, the characteristics of the phraseological units, lexicography and phraseography. Moreover, it focuses on the translation of the phraseological units, Czech Hispanic studies and on Josef Dubský, the author of the Gran diccionario espanol-checo. The analysis is concerned with the Spanish verbal phrases and their Czech equivalents in the dictionary. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the utility of the Czech equivalents used by Dubský and to investigate to what extent it is a useful dictionary of contemporary European Spanish.
