Architekt Alois Pilc byl výjimečnou osobností. Ačkoli nikdy nedokončil svá vysokoškolská studia, jeho stavby ovlivnily podobu meziválečného Přerova a mnoha dalších menších moravských měst. Pilc ovlivňoval kulturní život města také svými novinovými články, přičemž tak nepřímo zabrousil do pole teorie architektury. Rovněž působil jako scénograf v ochotnickém divadelním souboru Tyl. Šíře jeho zájmů zajisté ovlivnila podobu jeho architektonických projektů. Tato magisterská diplomová práce se zabývá realizovanými i nerealizovanými stavbami tohoto poměrně činného architekta. Jelikož podtitul práce zní "Architektonická centra a periferie", poslední kapitolu autorka věnovala této problematice se snahou o hodnotovou rehabilitaci a význam periferní architektury, kterou Pilc mnoha stavbami reprezentuje.Architect Alois Pilc was an extraordinary person. Although he never finished university and later worked in the provincial town of Přerov and other smal cities in central Moravia, his buildings significantly influenced the appearance and growth of this small-towns in the interwar period. Furthermore, Pilc affected the cultural life in Přerov with his newspaper articles in which he expressed his opinion on contemporary urbanism. He also worked as a scenographer in Přerov in the amateur theatre association Tyl. This wide range of interests is reflected in the design of his buildings. This master's thesis discusses realized and unrealized work of Pilc. Because the subtitle of the thesis is called "architectural center a periphery", the last chapter is dedicated to these issues, aiming to rehabilitate the values and meaning of peripheral architecture, which Pilc's many projects represets accordingly.
