The aim of this thesis is to describe and compare the identity and view of the process of their integration into Czech society in two groups of Vietnamese adolescents in Olomouc. The theoretical part is divided into three main sections, which are focused on defining key concepts of integration and identity and description of the lives of young Vietnamese adolescents living in the Czech Republic. The research part is focused on research of the view of young Vietnamese adolescents on the process of their own integration into the Czech society and also the perception of their own identity. During the research, interviews were conducted with two groups of young Vietnamese, a group born in Vietnam, a group born in the Czech Republic. The results of the interviews indicate that both groups of young Vietnamese are highly integrated into the Czech society, a Vietnamese born in the Czech Republic did not realize the process of integration, and a group born in Vietnam consider the knowledge of the Czech language as the basis of their successful integration.Simultaneously, it was also found that respondents born in Vietnam stated their personal identity to be Vietnamese, rather than the Czechs, while respondents born in the Czech Republic were much more showing signs of banana children identity and also experienced feelings of "Perpetual foreigner". Young Vietnamese from both groups also declared a changing of identities depending on the environment.
