Tato diplomová práce pojednává o současném postavení islámu a muslimů v Evropě. V práci je analyzováno jejich postavení a integrace do majoritní společnosti na základě náboženského a hlavně politického dialogu a podává přehled o migraci a integraci muslimů ve 20. století. Cílem práce bylo předložit návrhy na lepší soužití těchto odlišných skupin, zmapovat integrační politiku cílových zemí, zohlednit otázku vzájemné tolerance a potenciální hrozby islamismu.This thesis discusses the current status of Islam and Muslims in Europe. The paper analyses the status and integration into the society on the basis of religion, and especially political dialogue and provides an overview of migration and the integration of Muslims in the 20th century. The aim was to present proposals to improve the coexistence of these different groups, to map the integration policies of recipient countries take into account the issue of mutual tolerance and the potential threat of Islamism
