Práce podává architektonický a urbanistický vývoj souměstí Frýdku a Místku v první polovině 20. století. Na základě nalezených archivních materiálů, dostupné odborné literatury a periodik nastiňuje hlavní ideovou a vývojovou linii místní architektonické produkce. Především se zabývá nejdůležitějšími realizacemi, které postupně utvářely vzezření obou měst.The thesis is focused on the developement of architecture and urbanism in the two towns Frýdek and Mistek in the first half of the 20th century. According to the recently processed archival materials, available literature and periodicals, we are informed about the main ideological and conceptional line of local architectural production. Mainly deals with the most important realizations that gradually shaped the appearance of both cities.
