Hlavným predmetom tejto bakalárskej diplomovej práce je porovnanie tvorby zameranej na románový žáner, od Nacumeho Sósekiho a Moriho Ógaia. Vyberané sú romány zachytávajúce tematiku jednotlivca v japonskej spoločnosti počas jej modernizácie. V prvej kapitole práce sú stručne uvedené základné udalosti zo života autorov. Hlavnú časť práce tvorí analýza jednotlivých postáv, vybraných z primárne načítanej literatúry a demonštrácia prvkov westernizácie, ktorá sa v ich charakteroch objavuje. Cieľom výskumu je interpretácia jednotlivých symbolov, ktoré nám autori prostredníctvom svojej tvorby komunikujú a ich následné porovnanie. Táto konkrétna časť bola zistená na základe primárnej literatúry a opodstatnená pomocou sekundárnych zdrojov.The main subjekt of this bachelor thesis is the comparison of works which target the novel genre, by Natsume Soseki and Mori Ogai. Selected are novels, which depict the theme of an individual in the Japanese society during its modernization. In the first chapter, there are briefly introduced the basic incidents of lives of the authors. The main part of the thesis is composed of an analysis of individual characters, chosen from the primary read literature, and the demonstration of elements of westernization, that occur in their nature. The goal of the research is the interpretation of individual symbols, which the authors communicate to us through their works, and their subsequent comparison. This concrete part was ascertained on the basis of the primary read literature and furthermore substantiated by the help of the secondary sources.
