Cílem této práce je srovnat historické panorama před a po roce 2000. V první části je nastíněn přibližný literární a historický přehled, který předchází roku 2000. Druhá část je úvaha, která se zaměřuje na rozbor situaci ženy v Mexiku, ta je podána jak v rámci mexické historie tak s pohledem na současný stav. Třetí část je věnována detailnějšímu rozboru literatury po roce 2000 až do současnosti. Mým záměrem bylo zjistit o jakých tématech psaly spisovatelky předtím a pak je porovnat s tématy současných autorek.. Poté jsem podrobněji rozebrala nejopakovanější témata, kterými jsou smrt, ztráta a stín. Téma smrti je ještě zvlášť rozebrané v samostané kapitole, která dodatečně doplňuje svým obsahem dále pokrytý literární náhled. Co se týče rozboru tématu smrti, soustředím se na různé úrovně a zařadila jsem do něj plán mýtický, náboženský a realistický.The objective of this work is to compare the historic panorama before and after the year 2000. The first part outlines roughly the literary and historic environment that preceded the 2000. The second part focuses on a depiction of the situation for a woman in Mexico. The history of Mexico and the present time is considered. The third part consists in a detailed analysis of the literature after the 2000 till these days. My aim is to observe which the traditional themes are and their intersection with those of the contemporary writers. The investigation in the female literary field in Mexico is followed by a detailed analysis of the most recurrent themes. These are: the death, the loss, and the shadow. The death theme is very wide so there is a separate chapter dealing with this subject on an extra literary level. I have pointed out various perspectives among which there is the mythic and mythological side, the religious factor and the violent reality of the everyday life.
