Hipoterapie je odvětví hiporehabilitace a využívá trojrozměrný pohyb hřbetu koně a další prvky k ovlivnění pohybového systému pacienta. Dětská mozková obrna je neprogresivní onemocnění, které vzniká perinatálně. Hlavními pohybovými problémy pacientů s dětskou mozkovou obrnou jsou abnormální svalový tonus a poruchy koordinace. Hipoterapie se jeví jako metoda, která může za určitých podmínek pozitivně ovlivnit tyto problémy. V opačném případě může působit na pacienty negativně.The thesis deals with an impact of hippotherapy on patients with cerebral palsy. Hippotherapy is a part of Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies and it utilizes the three dimensional movement of horse?s back and other components to affect patient?s motoric system. Cerebral palsy is not a progressive disease and it forms in childbirth. Main motoric disorders of patients with cerebral palsy are abnormal muscle tone and impaired coordination. Hippotherapy seems to be the suitable method to influence these problems positively, but only under definit conditions. On the other hand it can impair patients when these conditions are failed.
