Tématem této práce je Občanská demokratická strana a pád vládní koalice v roce 1997. Autor se v ní snaží odhalit příčiny zmíněného rozpadu vlády a zároveň v ní analyzuje krizi občanské demokratické strany, která ovlivňovala i chod celé vládní koalice. Autor se v práci zaměřuje na personální změny Klausovy vlády a snaží se prokázat, že tyto změny negativně ovlivnily další chod vládní koalice. Autor je přesvědčen, že vysvětlení tehdejších odstupujících politiků o špatném financování ODS bylo pouhou záminkou k odchodu z koalice. Práce je rozdělena do čtyř kapitol. V první kapitole se autor zabývá teoretickými koncepty zabývajícími se vládní stabilitou a zvláštní pozornost je věnována teorii menšinových vlád autorů Valentina Hermana a Johna Popa. Ve druhé kapitole autor řeší problematiku vzniku Klausovy vlády a snaží se aplikovat teze autora Miroslava Nováka, který hlavní problém vládní stability spatřuje ve volebním systému. Třetí kapitola je zaměřena na personální změny vlády a na problémy, které při jejich realizaci vládní koalici provázely. Poslední kapitola je věnována závěrečné fázi krize, která probíhala od léta až do podzimu a projevovala se především neschopností vládních stran nalézt konsenzus při realizaci úsporných ekonomických opatření. Při psaní práce bude autor využívat empiricko-analytický přístup a jednopřípadovou studii.The topic of this Bachelor thesis is the Civic democratic Party and the Fall of government coalition in 1997. Author of this thesis tries to find reasons of this Government fall and analyzes crisis of the Civic democratic party as well, because the crisis inside ODS influenced the action of government coalition. The writer will aim on the personal changes of Klaus´s government and will try to demonstrate their influence on the action of the government. The writer is convinced that The explanation of Executive departments heads of their resignation connected with financions of ODS was only pretence to leave Klaus´s government. The bachelor thesis is divided into four parts. In the first part of thesis the writer analyses the theoretical concepts of government stability and then devotes the theory of Valentine Herman and John Pope, who are dealt with problems of Minority Governments . In the second part of Thesis writer tries to describe problems with the creation of Klaus´s Government. The third part of thesis is aimed to the personal changes of Klaus´s government and to problems, which was connected to these changes. The last part is devoted to the final phase of the government crisis proceeding Klaus´s government during summer and autumm in 1997. In this time the government coalition could´nt find any consensus in case of economy measure, which should have resolved bad economic situation in the Czech republic. The writer will use a one case study and empirical ? analytic approach.
