Táto práca je zameraná na vývoj spoločnosti na Pyrenejskom polostrove od 5. storočia až po koniec reconquisty v Portugalsku v 13. storočí. Zamerala som sa hlavne na spolužitie kresťanov a židov počas obdobia vizigótskeho kráľovstva a neskôr na vzájomné spolužitie kresťanov, židov a Arabov, resp. moslimov, počas arabskej nadvlády na Pyrenejskom polostrove. Vykreslila som kľúčové udalosti, ktoré neustále ovplyvňovali vzťahy medzi členmi tejto pestrej spoločnosti. V závere práce som popísala spoločnosť po odchode moslimov z Pyrenejského polostrova.This work focuses on the development of the society of the Iberian Peninsula from the 5th century to the end of the Reconquista in Portugal in the 13th century. I have focused mainly on the coexistence of Christians and Jews during the Kingdom of Visigoths and later for the mutual coexistence of Christians, Jews and Arabs, respectively Muslims during the Arab domination in the Iberian Peninsula. I have depicted the key events that continue to affect relations between the members of this diversified society. In conclusion, I described the society after the departure of Muslims from the Iberian Peninsula.
