Závěrečná bakalářská práce usiluje za pomocí kvalitativního výzkumu přiblížit identitu volyňských Čechů v jejich vlastním pojetí. Výzkumu předchází teoretická část práce, která slouží k lepšímu pochopení výzkumné části a výsledků kvalitativního výzkumu. Teoretická část práce popisuje složitou historii volyňských Čechů, a zachycuje takřka osmdesátiletou historii české menšiny na ukrajinské Volyni. Věnuje se dějinám Volyňské gubernie, popisuje náboženské, ekonomické a politické poměry v Rusku, které ovlivnily vývoj Volyně. Dále se tato práce zabývá účastí volyňských Čechů v 1. československém armádním sboru během druhé světové války. Je zde popisována reemigrační akce a usídlování volyňských Čechů na území Československé republiky na konci čtyřicátých let 20. století. Dále se tato práce zabývá pojmy, jako jsou nacionalismus, etnicita a identita, které souvisí s výzkumem. Poslední část práce odhaluje průběh a výsledky kvalitativního výzkumu.This bachelor?s thesis aims to outline the identity of Czech people from the Ukrainian region of Volyne using qualitative research. The first part of this thesis is theoretical and prepares readers for better understanding of both the research itself and outcome of qualitative research. The theoretical part describes a complicated history of The Czechs of Volyne and includes almost an eighty-years-old history of this Czech minority at Ukrainian region of Volyne. It pursues the history of governorate of Volyne and describes religious, economical and political situation in Russia, which influenced the progress of Volyne. Furthermore, this thesis deals with participation of The Czechs of Volyne in the 1st Czechoslovak Military Brigade during World War II. Re-emigration and settling of The Czechs of Volyne in the area of the Czechoslovak Republic in the late 40s of the 20th century is described too. This thesis also deals with the terms of nationalism and identity, which relate to the research. Finally, the last part unfolds a process and results of the qualitative research.
