Diplomová práce se zabývá teoretickou možností zavést pro volby do Poslanecké sněmovny Parlamentu České republiky smíšeně personalizovaný volební systém. Tento volební systém se úspěšně používá více jak 50 let pro volby do německého Spolkového sněmu (Bundestag) a na začátku 90. let 20. století jej zavedl i Nový Zéland. Případové studie těchto dvou zemí slouží pro lepší pochopení fungování tohoto volebního systému a analyzuje jeho důsledky na politický systém daných zemí. Práce se také věnuje volebnímu systému pro volby do Poslanecké sněmovny, jeho vývojem a hlavně jeho důsledky na český politický systém. Analytická část práce pak v teoretické rovině přepočítává výsledky voleb do Poslanecké sněmovny roku 2010 za použití smíšeně personalizovaného volebního systému.The Master thesis deals with a theoretical possibility to introduce the Mixed-Member Proportional system for the election to the House of Deputies of the Czech Parliament. This type of electoral system is successfully used for the elections to the German Bundestag for more than 5O years and at the beginning of the 1990s was also introduced in New Zealand. The case studies of these two countries are used for better understanding of functioning of this electoral system and the thesis analyzes its consequences on the political system of these countries. The thesis also deals with the electoral system for the election to the Czech House of Deputies, its development and especially with its consequences on the Czech political system. The analytical part of the thesis theoretically recalculates the results of Czech general elections 2010 with application of Mixed-Member Proportional system.
