Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou adaptačního procesu všeobecných sester na oddělení intenzivní péče. Jednotky intenzivní péče patří mezi specifická pracoviště a vyžadují kvalitní zapracování nových zaměstnanců tak, aby se mohli brzy a kvalitně začlenit do pracovního týmu. Teoretická část se věnuje charakteristice adaptačního procesu, následky nekvalitního adaptačního procesu a faktorům, které jej ovlivňují. Cílem práce bylo zjistit, jaké zkušenosti a názory ohledně adaptačního procesu mají všeobecné sestry s délkou praxe do 5 let a získané výsledky porovnat se zkušenostmi a názory všeobecných sester s délkou praxe nad 5 let. K provedení průzkumu byla použita metoda strukturovaného dotazníku.This Bachelor´s thesis deals with general nurses´ adaptation process at an Intensive Care Unit. Intensive Care Units are specific workplaces and they call for the top quality training of new staff so that they can become a part of working team quickly and efficiently. The theoretical part focuses on characteristics of adaptation process, consequences of bad quality adaptation process and potentially influencing factors which might affect the process. The objective of this thesis was to find out what experience and opinions regarding adaptation process are shared by general nurses with experience under 5 years, and to compare thus acquired results with experience and opinions of general nurses having experience over 5 years. The format of the survey was a structured questionnaire.
