Práce se věnuje problematice obezity u dětí. Celá práce je zpracována do dvou částí. První teoretická část je přehledem studií a informací, které souvisejí s dětskou obezitou, jejím vznikem, diagnostikou, léčbou a komplikacemi. Dále jsou zde informace o prevenci a edukaci v oblasti obezity u dětí. Tyto informace jsou přehledem získaným studiem především v on?line zdrojích a medicínské literatuře. Druhá část práce je sondou do spektra protektivních činností sester v ambulancích pediatrů Pardubického kraje. Tyto činnosti označujeme pojmem edukace. K tomuto účelu bylo osloveno 40 sester. Data byla získána metodou dotazníkového šetření, které zjišťuje podmínky a obsah edukace realizované sestrami v oblasti prevence obezity u dětí.The diploma paper is devoted to the problems of obese children. The whole paper is divided into two parts. The first theoretic part is a survey of studies and information which are connected with childhood obesity, its origin, diagnosis, treatment and complications. Further there is information about prevention and education in the field of childhood obesity. This information is a survey acquired through studies especially of on?line sources in medical literature. The second part of the paper is a probe into the spectrum of nurses´ protective activities in the out?patients departments of paediatricians in the region of Pardubice. These activities are denominated as education. For this reason I addressed 40 nurses. The data were obtained with the help of questionnaire method which finds out the conditions and content of education realized by nurses in the field of prevention of child obesity.
