Hlavním cílem předkládané práce bylo seznámit studenty s pojmem friluftsliv a s jeho historií, neboť tento norský životní styl má hluboké kořeny a tradice v dávné minulosti sahající až do polární expedice Fridtjofa Nansena. Friluftsliv je zcela specifický pojem, který se nepřekládá do jiných jazyků. Je charakteristický pro skandinávské země a pro Nory znamená jedinečnou životní filosofii. Práce čerpá z anglicky psané literatury, převážně mých učitelů z Oslo, a také z mých osobních zkušeností s norským friluftslivtem.The main goal of this thesis is to introduce students to the concept of friluftsliv and its history, as the Norwegian lifestyle has deep roots in the distant past, reaching back to the polar expedition of Fridtjof Nansen. Friluftsliv is a unique term which is usually not translated into other languages. It is specific to the Scandinavian countries and for the Norwegians it represents a unique life philosophy. The main sources of this thesis are English-language books, especially those written my teachers from Oslo, and also my personal experience with the Norwegian friluftslivt tradition.
