Kvartérní benzo[c]fenanthridinové alkaloidy jsou látky, které vykazují biologickou aktivitu. Tyto látky se využívají v boji proti paradentóze, proti rostlinným i živočišným škůdcům a v mnoha dalších aplikacích. Pro charakterizaci strukturních analogů chelerytrinu a sanguinarinu byla využity fluorescenční spektroskopie, spekrofotometrie a časově rozlišené měření kinetiky dohasínání fluorescence. Pro samotné vyhodnocení byla využita Lippert-Matagova rovnice, která udává vztah mezi Stokesovým posunem a polarizabilitou, a Kamlet-Taftova analýza, která popisuje vliv okolního prostředí na zvolené fluorescenční charakteristiky. Byly proměřeny doby života excitovaného stavu, maximální vlnové délky emise a excitace a molární extinkční koeficienty vybraných alkaloidů.Quaternary benzo[c]phenantridine alkaloids are compounds, which exhibit a wide range of biological activities. These species are used against plant and insect pest, periodontisis and in other applications. For characterisation of the stuctures analoges of chelerythrine and sanguinarine, we utilized the fluorescence spectroscopy, spectophotometry and the time-resolved measurements of the fluorescence decay. Our experiments were evaluated using the Lippert-Mataga plot that relates the Stoke?s shift and polarizability, and by the Kamlet-Taft solvatochromic analysis, which evaluates dependence of spectral characteristics on enviroment. We analyzed the lifetimes, the maxima of emission and excitation spectra and the molar extinction coefficient.
