Obsahem této práce je analýza neverbálních aspektů v americkém televizním pořadu Noční show Davida Lettermana. Jejím cílem je demonstrovat na praktické ukázce působení neverbálních vlivů v mezilidské komunikaci a zároveň na základě situačního a komunikačního kontextu interpretovat jejich význam. Analýza se opírá o procesuální přístup k neverbálnímu vyjadřování. Na vybraných situacích je tak jejím prostřednictvím odhalována funkční platnost neverbálních signálů v sociální interakci.This work contains the analysis of nonverbal aspects in the television programme Late Show with David Letterman. On the practical example, it aims to demonstrate the effect of nonverbal influences in interpersonal communication and at the same time to interpret their meaning on the basis of the situation and communication context. The analysis stresses the process approach to nonverbal communication. On the chosen situations, it reveals the functional validity of nonverbal signals in social interaction in this way.
