Bakalářská práce se zabývá měřením kontaktních čoček a především vlastnostmi materiálů kontaktních čoček, které rozhodují o optimálním výběru čočky pro konkrétního nositele. Vedle popisu a měření fyzikálně chemických vlastností materiálů kontaktních čoček, je práce zaměřena i na popis stability rozměrových a optických parametrů kontaktní čočky při ztrátě obsahu vody. Tato stabilita úzce souvisí s problémem komfortu nošení a biokompatibilitou materiálu kontaktní čočky. Jsou popsány i způsoby řešení biokompatibility u kontaktních čoček a taktéž způsob měření. V další části se bakalářská práce zabývá popisem a měřením mechanických, optických a rozměrových hodnot kontaktních čoček. Je uveden i přehled norem vztahujících se ke kontaktním čočkám.The thesis deals with the measurement of contact lenses and in particular with the properties of contact lens materials which determine the optimal choice of lens for an individual patient. Besides the description and measurement of physico-chemical properties of contact lens materials, the work focuses on the description of the stability of the dimensional and optical parameters of contact lenses when it looses its water content. The stability is closely related to the problem of comfort and biocompatibility of the material of the contact lens. They author discusses means to address the biocompatibility of contact lenses and the methods of measurement. The thesis also deals with the description and measurement of mechanical, optical and dimensional values of contact lenses. It also provides an overview of standards related to contact lenses.
