Práce je zaměřena na vývoj motivu sestupu do podsvětí v české středověké literatuře. V první části práce je představena historie a vývoj sestupu do podsvětí, pekla a ďábla. Dále je pozornost věnována vybraným dílům ze světové literatury a českým textům zabývajícím se touto tématikou. V závěru práce jsou všechny knihy vzájemně porovnány. Cílem této práce je snaha o nalezení společných prvků sestupu do podsvětí a jeho všeobecného modelu.This work is focused on progress of descending motive to underworld in czech medieval literature. In the first part there is represented history and progress of descending to the underworld. There is mentioned associating imaginations of a hell and the devil. Then the attention is paid to selected chapters from the world literature and then to czech texts involving this matter. At the end of this assignment all the books are evenly compared. The aim of this is to attempt to find common patterns of descending to the underwolrd and attempt of creation of its general overview.
