Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou specifických poruch učení a mentální retardace u dětí. V první kapitole teoretické části jsou uvedeny základní pojmy, definice a informace týkající se specifických poruch učení, mentální retardace a pedagogické diagnostiky. Druhá kapitola teoretické části informuje o možnostech vzdělávání žáků se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami a vymezuje pojmy edukační proces a reedukace. Praktická část je zaměřena na pozorování žáka se symptomy SPU ve školním prostředí a na ověření vhodnosti využití konkrétních reedukačních metod v tomto případě. Součástí praktické části je tvorba Příručky zahrádkáře.The graduation theses deals with questions of the specific learning disabilities and the mental impairment of children. In the first chapter of the theoretic part there are general notions, definitions as well as information concerning the specific learning disabilities, the mental impairment and the educator diagnostics. The second chapter of the theoretic part informs about posibilities in education of pupils with special educational needs and explains the notions "education process" and "reeducation". The practical part focuses on observing a pupil with symptoms of specific learning disabilites in school conditions and on the check of usability of particular reeducational methods in this case. The practical part includes creating "The gardeners handbook".
