Práce představuje využití validace, metody práce se seniory s demencí. První kapitola teoreticky vymezuje pojmy jako stáří, demence a sociální práce se seniory s poruchou orientace. Druhá kapitola představuje využití validace v rámci individuální a skupinové terapie. Obsahem třetí kapitoly je kvalitativní výzkum, jehož cílem bylo zjistit, jak vnímá zvolená skupina respondentů užitečnost validace ve své práci se seniory s poruchou orientace.This bachelor's work describes the validation, the method of helping disoriented very old people. There are theoretically defined terms such as senility, dementia and social work with disoriented very old people in the first chapter. The second chapter focuses on practical using the method of validation in the individual and group theraphy. The third chapter contains qulitative research. This research finds out the opinion the chosen social worker, which working with the disoriented old people about the usefulness of the validation method.
