Práce se zabývá vybranými paradoxy důležitými pro filosofii a logiku ve 20. století. Zkoumán je paradox analýzy, paradox sorites a skupina sebe-referenčních paradoxů, z nichž jsou zastoupeny především lhářský a Russellův. Nesleduje jen jejich negativní rysy, ale práce se snaží zachytit i jejich pozitivní přínos pro různé oblasti logiky a filosofie a chce postihnout jejich obecný význam, společné rysy a popisuje možné způsoby řešení. Vývoj těchto řešení je pak sledován převážně historicky, přičemž je dán prostor různým argumentům, které se během diskuze objevily. Při vysvětlování řešení paradoxů jsou popsány i různé nevýhody, která s sebou tato řešení obvykle nosí, protože i samotná snaha vyhnout se tvorbě paradoxů mohla přinést i další nevítané důsledky.This paper focuses on selected paradoxes important for philosophy and logic in the 20th century. The thesis examines the Paradox of Analysis, Sorites paradox and group of self-referential paradoxes, from which he liars and Russell?s are mainly represented. Their negative features aren?t the main characteristics, but this work also tries to implicate their positive contribution to various fields of logic and philosophy a wants to involve their universal signification, their common characteristics and describe possible ways of solutions. The development of these solutions is followed mostly historically, whereas the space is given to different arguments, that emerged during the discussion. Various disadvantages are described while explaining the solutions of paradoxes, which are usually brought, because even the effort to avoid the possibility of creating paradox could bring another unwanted results.
