Cieľom práce bolo navrhnutie metodiky na skúmanie sebareflexie vysokoškolského učiteľa a následné overenie jej správnosti na vzorke respondentov. Práca mala zistiť, ako vnímajú svoju profesiu vysokoškolskí učitelia, či skôr ako pedagogickú činnosť, či skôr ako vedeckú činnosť. Ktoré činnosti im zaberajú najviac času, aký je pomer medzi prácou doma a na pracovisku a ako sa vyrovnávajú s celkovými nárokmi profesie. Výsledkom je, že pedagogická činnosť prevažuje nad vedeckou s tým, že času venovaného pedagogickým činnostiam je viac, frekvencia úkonov a aj samotné množstvo úkonov spojených s pedagogickou činnosťou je nepomerne vyššie, aj podľa subjektívnych pocitov respondentov a aj podľa meraní z časových snímok týždňa.The goal was to propose a methodology to examine self-reflection of university teacher and subsequent verification the correctness of the sample of respondents. Work should determine how university teachers perceive their professional academics, or rather as a pedagogical activity, or rather as a scientific activity. What activities take up most of the time, what is the proportion between work at home and work at workplace and how they deal with the total demands of the profession. The result is, that the teaching activity outweighed scientific activity, by the fact, there is more time devoted to educational activities, the frequency of operations and the sheer amount of acts connected with the teaching activity is much higher, even by subjective feelings of the respondents and also by measurements of time frames a week.
