Cílem této práce je reflexe ergoterapie a možnosti jejího uplatnění v domovech pro seniory a uvedení, jak je ergoterapie využita v Domově pro seniory v Přerově. Ergoterapie může být starším lidem v domovech pro seniory užitečná v mnoha ohledech - vyplňuje smysluplně jejich volný čas, ale také může zlepšit zdravotní stav a přispět k větší soběstačnosti. V první kapitole tedy vymezuji ergoterapii, ve druhé se již zabývám ergoterapií v péči o seniory, kde se zaměřuji na její možnosti uplatnění v domovech pro seniory. A ve třetí části uvádím, jak je ergoterapie využita v Domově pro seniory v Přerově, a vyústěním této kapitoly je mé sociotechnické doporučení pro aplikaci ergoterapie v tomto zařízení.The aim of this thesis is a reflection of ergotherapy and the possibilities of its use in homes for the elderly and showing, how ergotherapy is used in the Home for the elderly in Přerov. Ergotherapy can be useful for the elderly in homes for the elderly in many ways - it fills their free time meaningfully, but it can also improve health and it contributes to greater self-sufficiency. So in the first chapter I define ergotherapy, in the second I deal with ergotherapy in care for the elderly, where I focus on the possibilities of its use in homes for the elderly. And in the third chapter I show, how ergotherapy is used in the Home for the elderly in Přerov, and the result of this chapter is my recommendation for aplication ergotherapy in this facility.
