Vzdělávání seniorů je důležitým předpokladem pro plnohodnotné prožití období stárnutí a stáří. Předložená práce se zabývá stárnoucími lidmi a seniorským vzděláváním, které je zahrnuto do rámce celoživotního učení. Téma je zaměřeno na účastníky vzdělávání probíhající na univerzitách třetího věku, respektive na Univerzitě třetího věku při Univerzitě Palackého v Olomouci. Cílem práce je získat profil účastníka tohoto typu vzdělávání. K dosažení cíle bude, na podkladech teoretických východisek práce, vypracována empirická část. Bude realizována pomocí kvantitativního šetření s užitím dotazníkové techniky.The elderly education is an important condition for full-valued life in the period of the aging and the senescence. This tabled thesis considers the aging people and the elderly education which is a part of lifelong learning. The topic is focused on the participants of the Third Age University education, or of the Third Age University on the Palacký University in Olomouc. The target of this thesis is to get the participant profile of this education type. On the theoretic ground will be draught the empiric part of this thesis. It will be realized by the quantitative investigation and by the questionnaire technique.
