Práce se věnuje otázce ordálů (božích soudů) v prostředí zemského práva doby předhusitské; pokouší se revidovat dosavadní pohledy na boží soudy a konfrontovat je s analyzovanými historickými prameny. Výsledkem má být co nejucelenější pohled na boží soudy aplikované v českém zemském právu.The diploma thesis deals the ordeals in chronological order, which should avoid the anachronisms as much as possible. The thesis uses the comparative method and method of backward perspective. The body of the text is divided into two periods ? the era of princedom and era of kingdom since each of them carries the specific features that were reflected in the legal culture of the Czech lands and the ordeals as such. The revise of the older-historians theories was the aim of the thesis, as well as their opinions comparison and comparison of them with historical sources. The synthesis which in the context of the municipal law offers a comprehensive view of the Czech ordeals of the pre-Hussite period.
