Zooterapie je terapeutická metoda, která využívá příznivého vlivu zvířat na člověka. K této terapii mohou být využívány různé druhy zvířat od psů, koček, delfínů či koní až po hmyz. Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na canisterapii, která využívá psy a s jejich kladný vztah k člověku. Canisterapie je jednou z nejrozšířenějších terapií pomocí zvířat v České republice. Její využití je velice rozsáhlé. Terapeuti se věnují návštěvám hospiců, nemocnic, léčeben dlouhodobě nemocných a dětských domovů. Hlavním cílem je zpříjemnit nemocným pobyt ve zdravotnickém zařízení, zkrátit jej a zlepšit jejich psychický stav. Velká většina pacientů si velmi rychle navykne na pravidelné návštěvy a s radostí očekává příchod jejich nového psího kamaráda, který s nimi stráví jejich jinak nenaplněný volný čas.Zootherapy is the method capitalizing on favourable effects of animals on humans. A wide variety of species is used for the therapy ? dogs, cats, horses as well as insects. The thesis deals with canistherapy ? therapy using dogs and their positive relationship with men. Canistherapy is one of the most widely used zootherapeutic methods in the Czech Republic. The use of canistherapy is various. Therapeuts visit hospices, hospitals, long-term care hospitals and children´s homes. The main objective of their work is to make the stay in a health-care facility more pleasant, to shorten the hospitalization period and positively affect mental and social health of patients. Most patients become used to regular visits very quickly and they wait for their new four-footed friends joyfully as they help them to spend the otherwise boring and long stay in the facility.
