Předložená diplomová práce popisuje problematiku osobnostních korelátů prosociálního chování. Je členěna na teoretickou a výzkumnou část. V teoretické části je ve čtyřech hlavních kapitolách popsáno sociální chování, altruismus, prosociální chování, dále osobnostní rysy, pětifaktorová teorie osobnosti a lexikální přístup v psychologii. Součástí těchto kapitol je vymezení každého termínu a teorie vztahující se k jeho vysvětlení. Poslední kapitolou je přehled některých výzkumů, tuzemských a zahraničních, věnovaných podobné problematice. Ve výzkumné části je na vzorku 120 respondentů (60 z oboru technického a 60 z oboru pomáhajícího) využita metoda NEO (osobnostní inventář) a PTM (dotazník prosociálních tendencí), ke zjištění osobnostních faktorů souvisejících s prosociálním chováním a rozdílů mezi respondenty s ohledem na studovaný obor a pohlaví.The presented diploma thesis describes the issue of personal correlates of prosocial behaviour. It is divided into a theoretical and research parts. In four main chapters of the theoretical part, it introduces descriptions of social behaviour, altruism, prosocial behaviour, as well as personal traits, a five-factor theory of personality and, finally, lexical approach in psychology. Firstly, each of the above mentioned terms is defined, and then the basic related theories are presented. The last chapter of the theoretical part is focused on some local and foreign researches of the same topic. In the research part, two methods, NEO (personal inventory) and PTM (prosocial tendencies measurement), were administrated by the sample of 120 students (60 from technical field of study, 60 from helping field of study). The aim was to investigate the interrelation between personal factors and prosocial behaviour as well as the distinction between respondents with respect to their sex and field of study.
