Diplomová práce se zabývá studiem prožívání smysluplného života v období adolescence ve vztahu k sociometrické pozici jedince v rámci školní třídy. Jedním ze stanovených cílů práce je porovnat prožívání smyslu života u studentů odlišného typu střední školy. Teoretická část práce je zasazena do filozofického kontextu studia smyslu života v psychologii. Zabývá se rovněž vývojovými otázkami období adolescence, mapováním hodnot a potřeb dnešní mládeže a úlohou školního prostředí v tomto vývojovém období. Empirická část práce je zasazena do kvantitativního metodologického rámce s designem korelační studie v kombinaci se srovnávací studií. Výzkumný soubor tvoří celkem 78 respondentů, z toho 29 studentů waldorfského lycea a 49 studentů gymnázia. Metodami získávání dat jsou dotazník PMP a Nominační technika. Výsledky výzkumu naznačují statisticky významnou souvislost mezi sociometrickou pozicí studentů ve třídě a prožíváním smyslu života. Mezi srovnávanými skupinami studentů byly rovněž zjištěny signifikantní rozdíly v dimenzi náboženství jako zdroje smyslu života.The diploma thesis studies the experience of the meaning of life in adolescence in relation to the sociometric position of individuals within the classroom. One of the stated objectives of the study is to compare the meaning of life experience among students of different type of high school. The theoretical part is set in the context of the philosophical meaning of life studies in psychology. It also addresses the developmental issues of adolescence, mapping the values and needs of today's youth and the role of school environment in this developmental period. The research is put into a quantitative methodological framework to design a correlation study in combination with comparative study. The research sample consists of 78 respondents, 29 of Waldorf lyceum students and 49 secondary school students. The methods of data collection are PMP questionnaire and Nomination technique. Research results indicate a statistically significant correlation between the sociometric position of students in the classroom and experiencing the meaning of life. Between the two groups of students were also found significant differences in the dimensions of religion as a source of meaning in life.
