Bakalářská práce se zabývá vzděláváním seniorů, především na univerzitách třetího věku. Poukazuje na historický vývoj a význam těchto institucí. Analyzuje specifika, cíle a funkce vzdělávání seniorů jako cílové skupiny se zaměřením na reflexi tohoto vzdělávání do jejich osobních potřeb. Hlavní část práce je zaměřena na roli motivace a následné seberealizace ve studiu seniorů. Zjišťuje motivaci seniorů ke studiu na konkrétní univerzitě třetího věku (U3V) a předkládá výstupy dokumentující přínos tohoto vzdělávání pro zvýšení kvality života seniorů.The bachelor work deals with seniors´education, especially at the universities of the third age. It shows historical development and importance of these institutions, it analyses specification, goals and functions in the education of seniors as the target group and is aimed at reflection of this education in their personal needs. The main part of the work is directed at the motivation role and subsequent self-fulfillment in the studies of seniors. It determinates seniors motivation for the studies at the particular university of the third age and submits outputs demonstrating the contribution of the above mentioned education with regard to the increased seniors´life quality.
