Diplomová práce se zabývá otázkami stárnutí a stáří, zpracovává tématiku postavení seniorů v České republice. Obsahuje souhrn poznatků o stárnutí a stáří. Shrnutí současného statusu a rolí seniora. Velká pozornost je věnována základním formám poškozování seniorů se svými specifiky, zejména ageismu a domácímu násilí na seniorské populaci. Definuje základní pojmy jako ageismus, týrání a zneužívání, typy domácího násilí, oběť a agresor. Zaměřuje se na specifika domácího násilí na seniorech. Důraz je kladen na prevenci negativních důsledků stáří a pozitivního ovlivňování vlastního zdraví, ale také na pomoc a podporu stárnoucí generaci. Součástí diplomové práce jsou i jednotlivé studie a výzkumy odborníků, které se vážou k této problematice.This Thesis deals with issues of aging and old age, works on the theme position senior citizens in Czech Republic. Contains knowledge about aging and old age. Summary of current status and roles of older people. A lot of attention is devoted to basic forms of harm seniors with thein specific features, especially ageism and Domestic Violence upon Senior population. It defines basic concepts such as ageism, tyranny and abuse,types of Domestic Violence, Victim and Aggressor. It also focuses on the specifics of Domestic Violence against seniors. Emphasis is placed on preventiv the negative results of age and the positive influence their own health but also to assist and support the aging generation. The hesis also includes individual study and research of experts that are bind to this issue.
