Bakalářská práce je věnována českým překladům románu Evžen Oněgin od Alexandra Sergejeviče Puškina. Úvodní část pojednává o vzniku, kompozici, dějové linii románu a charakteristice hlavních postav. Jednotlivé kapitoly se zabývají nástinem literárně-historického kontextu vzniku překladů a popisem života jejich autorů. Je uveden stručný komentář k jednotlivým překladům a jejich srovnání jak s originálem, tak i s dalšími českými překlady.The thesis is focused on Czech translations of Pushkin´s novel called Eugene Onegin. The opening part of the thesis deals with the composition of the book, describing the story and the personality of the main characters. The component chapters give description of the historic and literary context in which the novel was translated including profiles of the translators. A short commentary of each translation is given and the translations are compared with both the original novel and the other versions.
