Práca reflektuje súčasnú situáciu violoncellovej školy v Českej republike a podrobne popisuje spôsob interpretácie vybraných sólistov. Je rozdelená do dvoch častí, z ktorej prvá predstavuje základný prehľad najvýraznejších českých violoncellistov vrátane hráčov orchestrálnych alebo členov komorných telies, a to v súvislostiach s predošlým vývinom, na ktorý nadväzuje. V druhej časti je vybraných deväť violoncellistov prevažne vystupujúcich sólovo a popisuje ich spôsoby a zásady hry. Cieľom práce je poskytnutie ucelenej predstavy o úrovni súčasnej českej violoncellovej školy, poukázanie na odlišnosť spôsobov hry jednotlivcov a priblíženie ich nemalého významu.The thesis reflects the current situation of the cello school in the Czech republic and describes in detail the individual interpretation of selected soloists. It is divided into two parts - the first one offering the basic overview of the most outstanding cellists including the players in orchestras and ensembles. It covers today´s situation in the context of the previous development. In the second part nine selected cellists are introduced - most of them performing as soloists - and both their styles as well as the basic principles of their cello play interpretation are described. The goal of the thesis is to give a coherent picture of the remarkable position of today´s Czech cello school, show the difference between the individual interpretations and to point out the great significance of mentioned cellists.
