This bachelor´s project is focused on propaganda posters which were in circulation during the Cultural Revolution (1966-1976) in the People´s Republic of China. This project is based on original sources - propaganda posters bought in the People´s Republic of China. The aim of the project is to analyze 32 chosen posters above all in light of the semiotics. The historical-cultural background is emphasized when analyzing the theme of the posters. An exhibition is to be held as the finale and the conclusion of the project as well. The exhibition should show all the results of the project and furnish an understandable interpretation of the posters.
