Bakalářská diplomová práce zjišťuje stav opatrovnictví ve správním obvodě Luhačovice. Teoretická část pojednává o opatrovnictví v historických právních normách, průběhu soudního řízení o způsobilosti k právním úkonům a právních důsledcích, které z tohoto rozhodnutí vyplývají. Empirická část metodou studia dokumentů zjišťuje počet a strukturu opatrovanců a opatrovníků a metodou rozhovoru ověřuje předpoklady o větším počtu opatrovníků fyzických osob a formálním dohledu nad výkonem opatrovnictví.The Bachelor Thesis determines the state of guardianship within the administrative district of Luhačovice. The theoretical part describes how guardianship was established within historical legislative, the legal proceedings concerning the competency to legal acts and legal consequences that result from this decision. In the empirical part the number and the structure of wards and guardians is being investigated by means of documents study, the presumptions regarding the larger number of natural person's guardians, the smaller representation of public custodians and formal supervision over the guardianship performance were verified by dialogue method
