Cílem magisterské práce je vytvoření kartografického projektu Hydrologického atlasu povodí horní Odry po profil Koźle. Sestavení projektu respektuje obecně užívaná pravidla atlasové kartografie. Z celkové koncepce kartografického díla je důraz kladen především na sestavení obsahu atlasu. Dále je práce zaměřena na matematické prvky atlasu, kompozici mapových listů, návrh znakových soustav, návrh mapových metod a na ekonomickou rozvahu díla. Součástí práce je rovněž analýza dostupnosti podkladových a tematických dat na území České a Polské republiky potřebných k vlastní realizaci celého projektu. Výstupem práce je maketa knižní podoby atlasu, z dostupných dat několik konkrétních mapových listů a návrh uživatelského rozhraní webové aplikace.The main focus of the thesis, a cartographic project, is to compile a hydrological atlas of the upper part of the Oder river basin up to the water-gauge Koźle. All commonly used rules and regulations followed at atlas cartography are to be kept throughout its all composition. The thesis itself is thus focused on mathematical elements of the atlas, its individual pages composition, draft of both sign groups and atlas methods, as well as the economical impact of the work. Individual source and thematic data accessible on the Czech Republic and Poland territory, which are required for realization of the whole project, are to be analyzed as well. The outputs of the thesis are then as follows: a full-scale model of the atlas book, draft of both a few atlas pages composition and web application.
