Diplomová práce se dělí na část praktickou a teoretickou. V teoretické části pojednává o úloze gobelínu v historii s důrazem na vývoj v českých zemích. Zaznamenána je zde také důležitá role autorské tapiserie. Praktická část popisuje proces tkaní gobelínu. Diplomová práce zahrnuje také návrhy využití tématu v pedagogické praxi.Thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part discusses the role of tapestries in history with an emphasis on developments in the Czech lands. Important role of Author's hand woven tapestries is also mentioned there. Practical part describes the process of weaving the tapestry. Thesis also includes suggestions for use of this theme in pedagogical practice.
