Práce se zabývá vztahy mezi USA a způsobem, jakým jsou zobrazeny v chicanské literatuře. Je rozdělena na tří části. První část se zabývá historií vztahů mezi USA a Mexikem, druhá nabízí přehled chicanské literatury a třetí analyzuje tři konkrétní romány na základě informací v prvních dvou částech.The diploma thesis is aimed on analysis of relations between the USA and Mexico and their reflection in the Chicano literature. The thesis is divided into three parts, the first part shows a history of relations between the USA and Mexico, the second part offers a brief overview of the Chicano literature and the last one analyses three actual novels with information based on the data from the first two parts.
