Práce se zabývá dvěma souvisejícími tématy: 1) Návrhem, teoretickými východisky a postupem realizace Archeologického informačního systému Olomouce. Jde o počítačový program vznikající spoluprací s katedrou geoinformatiky PF UP, umožňující pomocí systémů GIS projektovat archeologická data do mapových vrstev. 2) Díky soustředění archeologických dat o dějinách osídlení prostoru města Olomouce do jedné databáze je možné se zabývat otázkou sídelní strategie ? tedy za pomocí literatury a dostupných informací zkoumat jakými mechanismy se řídily, pokud vůbec, osidlovací procesy v různých obdobích etapách prehistorie, protohistorie a rané doby dějinné.The thesis is focused on two connected topics: 1) The draft and theoretical basis for the realization of the Archaeological information system of Olomouc. That is a computer program, which is emerging from the cooperation of the archaeology section of the department of history (Faculty of arts) and the department of geoinformatics (Faculty of science). Purpose of the project is to show archaeological data connected with maps and to build a database with graphical functions. 2) Because of this connection data and maps, it is possible to study the question of a settlement strategy in Olomouc. For this it has been used available data and a literature and so there has been an attempt to find out some patterns which could influence the settlement strategy in prehistory.
