Bakalářská práce podává přehled zajímavých softwarových prostředků GIS používaných ve veřejné správě. Během tvorby práce byl pro sběr informací použitý jednak přímý kontakt s pracovníky dotčených institucí, jednak vlastní testování vybraných aplikací. Mezi zajímavé GIS aplikace patří zejména technologie mapových serverů. Jejich nespornou výhodou je, že poskytují prostorová data a služby způsobem umožňujícím dálkový přístup. V práci je představeno několik takových řešení. Pozornost je věnována také softwarovým řešením GIS využívaným v krizovém řízení na příkladu Hasičského záchranného sboru či informačním systémům o území (ISÚ). ISÚ představují specializovanou skupinu GIS, zaměřenou na správu územních celků, zejména měst a obcí.This bachelor thesis provides an overview of interesting software intruments of GIS used in public administration. While creating this thesis, both direct contact with personnel of concerned institutions and my own testing of selected applications were used for gathering information. The technologies of map servers are among the most interesting GIS applications. Their incontestable advantage is the fact that they provide spacial data and services in a way that enables remote access. Several such solutions are introduced in this work. Attention is also paid to software solutions GIS used in crisis management in the example of the fire brigade as well as LIS (= Land Information Systems). LIS represent a specialized section of GIS focusing on the administration of territorial units, especially in towns and municipalities.
