Cílem této magisterské diplomové práce je představit dominantní témata v beletristické tvorbě prozaika Edgara Dutky. V předkládané práci je kladen důraz na vymezení výrazných tematických okruhů a na přiblížení způsobu jejich reflexe v autorových textech. Výsledkem analýz je poukázat na určitý motivicko-tematický obraz Dutkových próz. Vedle tematických oblastí je pozornost věnována také postavě vypravěče a jazykové invenci ve vybraných dílech. Specifickým rysem Dutkových próz z hlediska narativní výstavby je postava dětského vypravěče a animální vypravěčky. S dětským protagonistou-narátorem je spojeno osobité jazykové ztvárnění.The aim of this master thesis is to present the dominant themes in the fiction writing of Edgar Dutka. In our study the emphasis is on defining the major topics and on describing the way of their reflection in the author's texts. The analysis result in pointing to a specific motif-theme repertoire of Dutka´s works of fiction . In addition to the thematic fields, attention is paid to the character of the narrator and a linguistic inventiveness in selected works. The specific feature of Edgar Dutka´s works of fiction from the point of view of building the narrative are the characters of the child and animal narrators/storytellers. The child protagonist-narrator is associated with his own habitable language.
