Kladné vnímání filosofie jako oboru je základem pro další možnosti jejího rozvoje v budoucnosti. Cílem této práce je především prostudovat recepci filosofie u širší společnosti, na vzorku studentů posledních ročníků středních škol gymnaziálního typu, kteří si svou představu o tomto oboru čerstvě utvářejí. V teoretické části práce jsou rozebírány stěžejní prvky filosofie (vědeckost, předměty studia, cíl a účel), aby ty dále byly konfrontovány s pohledem a názorem zkoumaného vzorku v praktické části. Součástí výzkumu je také studium didaktických souvislostí, tedy toho, jak didaktické metody ovlivňují formující se názor respondentů a jak jsou tyto metody provázané s podstatou filosofie samé. Závěrem práce je zhodnocení, že na vzdory kladným počátečním očekáváním je recepce filosofie u zkoumaného vzorku obecně spíše negativní, což je způsobeno jednak respondentům nevyhovujícím způsobem výuky a za druhé složitostí oboru samotného.A positive reception of philosophy is fundamental for its ongoing development in the future. The main aim of this work is a study of the reception of philosophy in broader society based on a sample of last-year secondary school students, whose conception of this field is just forming. In the theoretical part of this work main elements of philosophy (scientism, subjets of study, aim and purpose) are analysed, to be later confronted with views and opinions of the respondents in the second part of the work. A part of this work is also a study of didactic methods used - how they influence forming opinions of respondent and how they are connceted with the essence of the philosophy itself. The outcome of this work is that while there are positive expectations at the beginning among the respondents, the reception of philosophy is generelly mostly negative. This is caused partly by methodts of teaching the philosophy, that do not suit respondents, and partly by overall difficulty of the field itself.
