Hlavním cílem práce je posouzení somatických faktorů sportovního výkonu extraligových basketbalistů kategorie U18. Výzkumu se zúčastnilo 40 probandů ze třech extraligových týmů. Antropometrické měření proběhlo v letech 2008 až 2009 (BK Prostějov 08, BK Prostějov 09, NH Ostrava 09). Výzkum byl zaměřen na analýzu základních antropometrických charakteristik: tělesná výška a hmotnost, tělesné složení, somatotyp. Zjištěné údaje byly srovnány s normativem průměrné české populace a s výsledky výzkumů českých i zahraničních autorů.The main goal of the dissertation is the somatic factor estimation of an athletics performance of major-league basketball players within the category U18. An additional goal is to use the results of the anthropometric survey for a future development of teams participating in the survey. 40 probands from three teams have taken part in the survey. The anthropometric survey has taken place in the years 2008 and 2009 (Teams participating: BK Prostějov 08, BK Prostějov 09, NH Ostrava 09). In the methodical part of the bachelor dissertation we can find methods used for creating the dissertation. In the result part there are shown measured values of particular teams.
