Bakalářská práce se zabývá překladem díla autorů René Goscinnyho a Jean-Jacques Sempého Malý Mikuláš a balón, na konkrétních příkladech poukazuje na pravidla správného překladu.The work concerns the translation of the book Little Nicolas: The balloon and other unpublished stories- translation and commentary. We chose four chapters from the book that we translated and we wanted to show how works the general rules of translation on concrete examples. We compared the french and the czech language and we commented the problems that are connected to the translation between this languages.
