Diplomová práce se zabývá historií farnosti založené řádem augustiniánů působících na Starém Brně. Počínajíc založením města Brna a působením augustiniánů v něm je historie farnosti současně dějinami národa od třicátých let minulého století až po dnešek. Hlavní důraz je kladen na období vzniku a život tehdejšího křesťanského společenství. Podrobněji zpracované jsou však i další kapitoly, cílem bylo získat co nejvěrnější obraz farnosti v celé její existenci. K přiblížení života farnosti slouží obrazová dokumentace.This graduation theses considers the history of parish founded by Augustinian friary functioning in the Old Brno. It is connected with the foundation of the city and so it becomes the part of the national history since the 30´s to the present. The main stress is laid on the date of beginnings and the life of formerly Christian community. It aims to describe the parish life in full details and truly. The picture documentation aspires to give support to the facts about the life and situation.
