Obsahem práce je analýza teoretické relevance klasického Marxova konceptu sociálních tříd v současné moderní společnosti. Začíná identifikací klasického pojetí sociálních tříd v díle Karla Marxe. Následuje analýza Beckova předpokladu rozkladu tříd a Daherendorfova předpokladu proměny konfliktu v informační společnosti. Jádrem práce je kapitola, ve které jsou srovnány Marxovy, Beckovy a Dahrendorfovy přístupy k třídám a konfliktům v moderní společnosti. Hlavní osu práce tedy tvoří historický vývoj modernity se zaměřením na společenské vazby, na stratifikaci společnosti, na změny v oblasti práce a na rozvoj výrobních technologií. Hlavní snahou je popsat mechanismy tvorby tříd a jejich společensko-historické okolnosti, současný stav třídního vědomí, důvody jeho rozkladu a nástin podoby nového společenského členění v dílech zmíněných teoretiků.The content of the theses is the analysis of Marx´s theory of social classes in modern society. It starts with an identification of Marx´s theory of social classes in his works. It is followed by the analysis of Beck´s prediction of breakdown of social classes and Dahrendorf´s prediction of transformation of conflict in society of information. The key chapter compares Marx´s, Beck´s and Dahrednorf´s attitudes toward social classes and conflicts in modern society. Therefore the body of the theses consists of historical development of modernity focusing on: social ligatures; stratification of society; changes in the field of work; and development of technology. The main attempt of the thesis is to describe mechanisms of creation of classes and their social and historical circuimstances, current condition of the class conscious, reasons of its disintegration and idea of social stratification in works of three mentioned above theorists.
