Ve své práci popisuji cestu pěstounů k přijetí dítěte s mentálním postižením. Nejdříve po administrativní stránce, následně po stránce osobního přijetí dítěte. Dále popisuji trauma, které může vzniknout v této situaci. Na závěr se krátce zabývám posttraumatickým růstem těch pěstounů, kteří se s traumatem vyrovnali.I describe way to acceptance of a child with intelectual disability of foster-parents in my thesis. At first I describe it by administrative part of the acceptance, than by part of the personal acceptance. At next I describe to trauma, which can be in this situation. I deal with post-traumatic growth foster-parents, which are up to trauma, at the close.
