Práce se zabývá problematikou pečujících otců v konkrétních oblastech péče o dítě, a to se zaměřením zvláštní pozornosti zejména na práva a možnosti, které takto pečující otcové mají, z hlediska sociální politiky a sociální práce. Jedná se o problematiku pečujících otců v nukleární rodině (tj. model matka-otec-dítě/děti) a dále osamoceně pečujících otců, v této souvislosti zejména pečujících otců po rozvodu a po rozchodu. Práce se věnuje problematice pečujících otců zejména s ohledem na současnou situaci v naší společnosti, přičemž se jedná o takové situace, kdy je otec převážně či výhradně pečujícím.The work deals with the problems of the caring fathers in particular spheres of the care about a child, with exceptional attention focused on the rights and the possibilities, which those caring fathers have, focused from the Point of Views of Social Policy and Social Work. It deals with the problems of caring fathers in a nuclear family ( eg. the model a mother ?a father ? a child/children) and also with the single caring fathers, mainly the caring fathers after the divorce or the separation. The work concentrates on the problems of the caring fathers regarding the contemporary situation in our society, focusing on the situations when the father is the predominant or the only caring one.
